After a 2-year construction phase, the expansion of the Test Center at IKA's headquarters in Staufen was officially opened in the summer of 2022. The opening ceremony was attended by IKA co-owner Pascal Stiegelmann and representatives of local politics: the mayor of the town of Staufen, Michael Benitz, and the district vice president of the state of Baden-Württemberg, Klemens Ficht.

With a total area of more than 300m² and two additional test facilities, approximately 300 customer trials can now be carried out per year. In this way, we are able to meet the increased requests of our customers for test sessions in line with their needs.

The modern equipment of the facilities as well as a large selection of test machines and plants ensure optimal conditions for successful tests of new formulations or manufacturing processes. This investment in the company's location is also an investment in the future: The expansion of the Test Center will create new jobs that will complement and strengthen IKA's technical expertise.
